If you think intellectual property (IP) rights are only for technology companies or large organizations with expansive resources, think again!

There are cost conscious, reasonable steps that can and should be taken by independent companies to add value to their business and to protect their creations. This webinar will provide you with a basic understanding of the different types of IP (including trademarks, copyrights, patents, and trade secrets), inexpensive ways to help protect your IP, when and how to go about acquiring registered rights in your IP, tips on managing employee issues related to IP, and ways to guard against the inadvertent infringement on the IP of others.

Finally, we will divide into small breakout rooms to analyze real-life examples of alleged IP violations that resulted in litigation before gathering back together as a group to learn the outcome of each case.

Beth Ann Dahan, Dawn LaRochelle and Elizabeth Salas Evans, Project Managers from Eastern and Central MA and New Hampshire will moderate the discussion.
