Dear Members and Friends of the NBA,

The current situation is unprecedented. As your local business association, all of the volunteers are working diligently to find ways to support our community.
I wanted to reach out and let you know what we are doing so far during this difficult time.
  1. We have postponed our events in March and April. We will update everyone through email, website and social media when our events will be happening again.
  2.  We will work to post resources for you all through our contact methods that may be of assistance to you as a small business. You will see some here, and continue to see more in the days ahead. We hope to be a resource for you.
  3.  We want to support your business in any way we can. We’d be happy to promote our members through our marketing channels. If you have any news, promotions or other items, please let us know and we will be very happy to share it. We are happy to also do profiles on your businesses if you’d like. As of right now we have 511 contacts for our emails, 2,118 followers on Facebook, and 266 followers on Instagram. Please send an email to me directly or email our marketing team.
  4. We will continue to work diligently to find new ways to support each other as we go through these difficult times. We are open to suggestions and ready to work with you.

There will be more to come on this as we continue to navigate these new waters.

As a fellow small business owner, I know it won’t be easy in the weeks ahead. Let’s all try to do what we can to support each other as we know, a rising tide will raise all boats.

I look forward to seeing you all in person again when we get to the other side of this but in the meantime, please stay connected with us. We do appreciate you being part of our very special community.

Urgent help Needed
Newmarket coordinator Melani Taillon said since the schools closed the number of students End 68 Hours of Hunger serves has increased from 23 to 33, who pick up the food when they pick up their drive-through lunches at the elementary school.

Taillon said because her group serves a smaller student population, they’ve been able sustain themselves with the supply raised through two food drives. However, she said the group’s food supply will likely not last more than a week.

“We encourage all students to take part in the program regardless if it’s a short-term or long-term need” Taillon said. “We’re depleting the inventory from our two very large food drives, so it may become an issue if the supply chain doesn’t even out.”

Taillon said residents can donate non-perishable food to the Newmarket Great Bay Athletic Center and Brown’s Bagel Shop.
The bagel shop will be open through the week starting Wednesday
Please stop by with you we’ll appreciated donations.
Thanks Bob & Jessica Brown

We want to help.
If you have a school aged child in need of a Healthy Meal while school is closed. Your child may receive up to 2 Meals Free Per Day on us. Ask Management at store for details.

We’ve been working on a creative way to put together a resource for food for our community, family, customers, employees, and friends during these stressful times.
We have decided to not stay open for take out and our normal menu will not be available for the next few weeks.
Our result is this: Thursday, from 5pm-7pm we will have soups and stews in bulk available to you all (we can be a bit flexible with these hours). These items will be freeze able and for free. Please use this as a resource. We ask that for now you limit to 2 per person, but please don’t hesitate to ask for more if your needs call for it. Staple supplies can also be available for you upon request.
We will be making another batch of soups/stews/prepared meals once we reassess our stock after this round of prepping.
We hope you all stay healthy and informed.
If you have any questions, let us know.
